Motion reads: "That this House welcomes the publication of the recent report Growing Food in Cities jointly by the National Food Alliance and SAFE Alliance which highlights the multiple benefits of urban food growing, demonstrating through examples that such activities can and do lead to community interaction, employment and training, increased education for our children, a greener environment, improved health, and sustainable urban regeneration; and supports the central recommendation of the report, that policy makers at all levels should be required to integrate into their work the promotion and support of urban food growing."
